The Client had a vision of an interactive modern app serving as a tour guide. Upon reaching a specific destination in one of the biggest cities, the app would play a recording of a story associated with that place. In this comfortable format, users could learn about interesting historical places whenever they would like to – when on holiday, when going to work, doing shopping, or jogging.
CityTalks is a company that was formed and formally registered in 2017. Its goal is to implement an application focused on tourism, education, and history that would facilitate travelling and exploration.

The database extensive API provides the mobile apps and web platform with all data, among others: geographical spots (currently around 8000 spots in the database) with their related locations,
Audio and graphic files, users with their activity (personal photos, historical locations and actions), user real-time locations, a set of geographical spots creating the ‘walks’, and more.
The application features an innovative approach on a global scale as it is characterized by the CTML data storage format. In comparison to other competing formats of data storage, CTML allows for a more precise determination of a location. This precision is possible by complementing GPS data with additional information enabling easy specification of a location, even if the place is small, or located underground or inside a building, etc. (such sites are difficult to pinpoint for popular systems).
